On 19-20 November the Albanian Prime Rama the head of a high Albanian delegation developed a fruitful visit in the state of Kuwait. In this high-level intergovernmental meeting the Prime Minister Rama was received by the homolog Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al Hamad Al-Sabah , the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah , the Foreign Ministerof Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al -Sabahe and several other ministers like the Health and that of the Economy. IN theAlbanian delegationthe Albanian Prime Minister was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs / DitmirBushati and the Minister of Economy, Trade and Entrepreneurship z / ArbenAhmetaj. Together with the governmental delegationwere parts the heads of the Friendship Association Albania - Kuwait, the mayors of the biggest municipalities in the country, and 16 business representatives.
In his speech,the Albanian Prime Minister emphasizedthe relations between the two countries as special. He has emphasized that these relationships have started in 1990 when Albania was among the first countries which strongly condemned the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq. Hehigh appreciated the Kuwait projects in agriculture and transport where the Kuwaiti Fund for the Arab Economic Development (KFAED) which since 1993 has provided six loans with a worth of 72.9 million dollars.
During the bilateral discussions were focused on promoting the economic cooperation between the two countries especially in the field of Tourism, Agriculture, Infrastructures, Energy,in water sector and the real estate. Also between homologues were signed four important agreements of understanding in the field of cooperation and development ofthe industrial exports, Environmental protection, the conservation of Natural Resources, , Cooperation in Health and the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports.
Albanian Prime Minister demanded that the Kuwaiti private sector to invest more in different sectors of Albania being expressed entirely open and ready to welcome investment and Kuwaiti investors. This thing the Albanian Prime Minister emphasized in his interview to Kuwait News Agency KUNA which stressed that the Kuwaiti private sector may find itself with significant investments in Albania in Tourism, Agriculture, Infrastructure, energy, water sector, and in the real estate.
